Anxiety out of control Blood pressure Up

Im tapering off klonopin and xanax,i try not to do the xanax i made it from 1 mg 3 times a day to 1 mg a day and im down from 4 pills of 0.5 klonopin 4 times a day to 2 1/2 pills(just made the drop from  3 pills to the 2 1/2 this week,fight with spouse bad anxiety..........will it hurt to  take the xanax till the added stress and anxiety calms down..my dr used the klonopin to get me off the xanax but im pretty much still on 1 mg of it..............my blood pressure is high and pulse i know its stress i cant control it and this taper is hard..........my right side of me head and face hurt.and my right eye been going on for awhile....I think the xanax will help the pulse and blood pressure right.

   I know how hard it is to taper off these pills.... When I was 18 years old, I was blindly placed on a low dose of Klonopin, 1 mg daily,,,, I had know idea of the repercussions of these pills, I unfortunately ended up seeing a Psychiatrist(incompetent idiot) who after five years, on Klonopin placed me on Ativan with the Klonopin... The guy's a retard... So I took the Ativan with the Klonopin(I am so stupid)for about three months 2mg at bed time...  I have been weaning off the Ativan for five months.... So  am sorry I am no trying to make this about me, I know what you are going through... And good for you for getting off this garbage....  Benzos suck, and they take away your life.... At least for me they have.. good luck sweetie...

Why are you tapering off the meds?  Are they giving you side effects?  Im on ativan for anxiety.  I take one in the morning and two before bed 1 mg each for sleep.  Any tranquizer will lower your blood pressure but if its high you should also be on a blood pressure pill.  I am on atenolol with a water pill.
