When I say wierd I mean there is a burning sensation in my head and neck, I stay extremely tired, my neck hurts and my head hurts. I have had tons of bloodwork and it has all came back normal. The doctor even said that he has never seen anyones numbers as normal as mine.
Spanky,
yes I have as well> I go to a message therapist and get them released. The problem with me is I also suffer from degenerative disk disease, and work does not help at times as well as stress. the others are right> I was in charge of health and safety and work can place a toll. If you are stressed that makes things even worse. Just remember your no different than anybody else, and you will get through it. With proper stetching, maybe even massage, and proper techniques, it hopefully will help. Its not uncommon. relax and take it easy bro cause theres nothing wrong just need to care for yourself buddy, just like any one of us. I have been told to be mindful, compassionate to myself as well as others, and remind yourself how important you are and things generally work out. Time and patience is the big teacher. So go get a massage therapist and enjoy the experience, and try meditation as i am to do more often. let me know if you try any of these and ill see if there is something useful. As my therapist says " Have a great day and take goooood care of yourself" you deserve it!!!
Have you ever had your vitamin D levels checked. There is a ton of research now that shows that low Vitamin D can attribute to many of the symptoms listed here. I recommend you get that checked. I suffered for a long time before I learned that I was severely Vitamin D deficient. Vitamin D, magnesium/calcium supplement, omega 3's and a good multi vitamin worked wonders for me. No meds! Read up on that within this website.
I wish you could explain what "weird" means to you in relation to your head, neck and shoulders. "Weird" is just too subjective and doesn't really give us a good idea of what your feeling.
Your job involves a lot of lifting, your friend said they could feel knots in your muscles and in my humble and non-medical opinion, I think that is your problem. When we overwork our muscles to the point of getting knots, there is one really important question you need to ask yourself. Are you lifting correctly? Proper body mechanics is so important and if lifting is part of your work requirements, your employer should offer classes or have someone come in and show you the correct ways to lift to protect your back and neck from what can be very serious and life-long injuries.
I'm sure just about everyone here has, at some point in their lives, had knots in their muscles. They can be extremely painful and is your bodies way of telling you that you're hurting yourself. All those muscles, tendons and ligaments in your neck and shoulders are connected. As you continue to work, adding more and more stress and tension to these areas, headaches can, and often do, become a chronic symptom.
If your employer doesn't or won't provide training, I suggest looking up body mechanics on Google, find a reliable source and teach yourself how to do your job without injuring yourself.
To help you NOW, to get your back and shoulders "repaired," I would strongly recommend a few sessions with a trained and licensed massage therapist for some deep tissue work. This does not feel good. Those knots are deep and can be difficult to work out with only one treatment. Most insurance will cover therapeutic massage if your doctor writes a script for it.
Get the knots out, practice good body mechanics, listen to the advice of your massage therapist for self-care and hopefully you will avoid the pain and limited range of motion as you get older that so many of us live with because we didn't know how to lift properly ourselves.
I can understand your concern, so do something about it, but I don't think anxiety is your issue.
Let us know how you're doing, OK?
Peace
