Anxiety again and Abilify and shaking

I have posted on here about my shaking and it is really bad this morning. I can't help to think that it is not a coincidence that the shaking started about 3 days after I started taking Abilify. I am on day 17 I think. It doesn't happen all of the time. Yesterday I was fine for most of the day. My mother (she is 78) fell yesterday in the early evening and she will be all right but she busted her nose and knee and we had to get her to the hospital by ambulance. My therapist says that my mom is the culprit to my anxiety and other mental issues. When this happened I was on my way to pick up my daughter from the ex-wife. Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep last night. We brought her home at around 10:00 and I had to get up early to get my daughter ready for kindergarten. I got to work this morning and I was fine but then about an hour into work I began shaking uncontrollably. It is nerve racking to shake this bad. Of course my anxiety gets up and I just go spinning into a small attack. The funny thing is writing this has helped and my shaking has calmed down a little.

Abilify has "Uncontrollable twitching or jerking movements, tremors, " as potential side effects.  Perhaps you should discuss this with your prescribing doctor.

This edginess is unbearable. After taking Abilify for just over 2 weeks, is it safe to stop it on my own?

Aren't beta blockers for heart patients?

a good drug for you is a beta blocker, this is good for relieving the sense of being on edge, migraines, shaking of the hands too and lowers bp n hr.

talking to someone on here will help a lot, i had anxiety issues and have gone now though, a panic attack may nmot happen until a few days even weeks nweeks after a bad traumatic event
