It sounds possible you have some problems with the foods you're eating, possibly a gluten problem or intolerance to dairy or wheat or something like that. I say possible, I don't really know. Wheat and dairy allergies and intolerance are extremely common and can produce profound effects, including anxiety, so I'd suggest if you haven't done this already to see a doctor. While this could very well be anxiety, you do need to rule out physiological causes to know for sure. If you haven't the ability to get to a doctor or natural practitioner who understands nutrition well just try stopping wheat and dairy for a couple weeks and see what happens, as they're the two most common problematic foods.
No counselling nor groups available here. I'm trying my best to cope with the situation but the breathing difficulty during and after eating is really a hindrance.
I don't have much energy to do lot's of physical work and if i over exert myself while doing physical work, the deep breaths I have to take are somewhat similar to those I experience when eating.
Anxiety can definitely manifest itself in various ways in my experience with it. It also affects all differently. I too, lose much of my appetite when I am under a lot of stress. Anxiety can make me feel run down and cause all sorts of physical symptoms.
Do you have resources that you can use such as counseling or any groups that meet to discuss this topic?
Anxiety can effect your apatite. Try eating several small meals a day instead of 3 large ones.
