Anxiety

My name is Chris I'm 20 years old with bad heart anxiety. I've just now started to do some cardio. Today I don't know why I did but I jumped right into some intense boxing cardio and I felt fine until towards the end when got really intense and I got this kind of heart pain feeling in the center of my chest it didnt take my breath away or anything because I was able to continue training but is this normal for someone to feel when out of shape and then jumping into intense cardio training. Keep in mind that I've had multiple normal EKGs to many to count and blood test/pee test and normal chest xrays also my doctor has given me a EKG at his office and listened to my heart and EKG was clear and he said my heart sounds beautiful and then this happens today! Is it normal for someone out of shape to feel this if they push to hard?? I need some help should I continue what I'm doing?

And yes, in addition the very good advice above, if you start any new exercise it will use parts of your body you're not used to using.  Obviously, boxing involves arm extension, which attaches to the chest, so you probably just feel sore there.

Hi there...when you have ruled out the physical then you have to work on the mental.  It looks like your heart has been deemed fine so now you are left with the mental health anxiety.   Has anyone suggested that you see a psychologist to learn cognitive behavioral therapy?  Anybody that exercises is going to have an elevated heart rate.  You can try wearing a heart rate monitor and try to stay within a normal heart rate for the type of exercise you are doing.  When I do cardio, my heart feels like it is going to beat out of my chest but I don't have a heart attack and I'm 51.  You are going to be fine but you do need to address the anxiety with a professional.  Good luck.
