Anybody got any advice

Hi my name is James im a 22 m I have been going to the doctor even the er lately for what seemed like a heart attack.
my symptoms are tremors, sweaty hands and feet, dry eyes, rapid heartbeat, tight chest,i can even feel my heartbeat through my left arm, dry throat, headaches, shortness of breath, restlessness tingling in my fingertips. The doctors put me on metoprolol lorazepam and sertaline an anti depressent about ten months ago my weight was 235-240 lbs i know weigh 170 lbs. It started about two weeks ago and even with the meds my heart feels like its going to explode. i recently broke up with my girlfriend of six years and have a stressful job and a bad financial situation. the doctors have told me its stess they did blood work ekgs and i try doing breathing excersises but it doesnt seem to help can anybody give me advice on what i should do. I had the same panic attacks since I was 17, I'm 55 now. I tried everything.  I take Paxil 30 mg.(the generic,paroxatine), no side effects for me. Since I have been taking it I haven't had not one attack. I have been on it for 22 years. I do everything now with no fear of getting an attack.

thanks for the reply i will take what you said in effect. Going to the doctor monday to let her know about the worsening symptoms. I really hope i can overcome this anxiety because its been constant for two weeks now. Thanks again for your advice

Hello. From your description, sounds like you most likely have some type of anxiety disorder. Have you spoken to your doctor about the worsening symptoms? External events can and will intensify stress, but things like eating well, (even when not hungry), getting enough sleep, and exercise will often go a long way. Hope this helps and take care, GM
