Not if it works, but if you research it you'll find it's an old drug long in search of something it can treat. But again, if it works, then whoopee!
I would love some input on Buspar, as my new Dr just put me on it, is it a waste of time?
Withdrawal has nothing to do with how long it takes for a medication to leave your body -- it has to do with your body readjusting to working normally again. How long that takes is different for everyone, but since Buspar generally doesn't work (as shown in clinical trials) it shouldn't have a big impact, so hang in there.
The side effects were bad, but did it help your anxiety?
