Can these 2 anxiety pills be taking at once?

Hi just recently my anxiety attacks came back. I thought I could be able to brush them off and ignore them but it really isn't possible for me so I went on ahead to see my doc. NOTE** I've previously gone to the doctor and he prescribed me Peroxetine 25MG and Chlordiazepoxide 25MG**. So the same day before I went to see the doctor I tried to get my prescription re-filled. The Pharmacy could only re-fill one which was peroxetine 20MG! They told me I'd have to get a prescription for the Chlordiazepoxide.. So then I go to the doctor, he sees me  but then prescribes me only Buspirion 5MG..
SO.. My question Is.. What would be better for me taking only my Buspirion or only Peroxetine? Or both at the same time?
Also NOTE** The bottles instructions are to take Buspirion once in the morning and once at night. Peroxetine is only at night.

When were these meds prescribed for you?  Were they Rx'd by the same doctor for you for anxiety?  When did you see the doctor last for anxiety?

These medications CAN be taken together, but like I said, I really think you should wait until you can see your doctor.  I certainly understand it is uncomfortable, and we always want immediate relief, but sometimes it is better to do things the right way instead of jumping the gun.

Well I did ask the pharmacist but was so nervous at the clinic I could hardly talk. The pharmacist said take them both?.. I was also reading the papers that came with the meds and it says Paroxetine is an anti-depressant and buspirion is an anti-anxiety pill.. I think ill just take both. I hope I turn out ok. Anxiety is a serious issue. I was so outgoing, fun and really cool guy tot talk too. Now I'm always thinking before I say ANYTHING! I just hope this works.

Does your doctor intend for you to take both drugs?  I always goes with what my doctor thinks is best for me.  If I do not agree with him then I tell him and we discuss it.  Good luck on that anxiety.

What you need to do is go back to your doctor and ask what your best approach should be.  Don't just start taking medication you had from before.  There may be another option that your doctor would rather try.

Definitely get in to see your doctor, and again, my advice would be not to just start taking medications that you may have taken before...wait until you can get in to see your doctor!

Good luck, let us know how you're doing!!
