Can this truly be anxiety - Part III

January & February 2009 are relatively the same.  Daily headache and spaciness feeling, but tolerable where I can function, but get fatigues easily doing so.  Referred to hematologist and ferritin still high, but other markers do not correlate.  Full work up thereafter is normal and hemo states 6 month f/u.  Huge swollen lymph node on left groin, but PCP states due to ear infection and rx’s Zpak.  My eyes also act like they do not want to function properly and feel strained almost non-stop.

March 2009 - temple headaches are becoming bad again and predominantly right sided.  Will get 2-5 bouts/day with varying degrees of pain but deal with via Advil.  My concentration is also poor and I really have to focus to complete menial tasks.  See another neuro-opthamologist in early April ’09 and she dx’s me with chronic cluster H/A, gives me an occipital block and prescribes verapamil and imitrex.  It does not appear to be helping as I believe the H/As are either eye strain due to 2x vision or tension related from GAD.  I go to chiropractor who stated no wonder I have H/A due to terrible neck & shoulder tightness – he said worst he’s even seen.  Massage therapy and a few adjustments have worked better than anything to date for the pain.  Now I just have to address the anxiety triggers that cause the tension.

I’m trying Panicyl (natural herb blend for GAD) and it’s only been 10 days, but seems to take the edge off.  Still taking verapamil, getting allergy shots, using Panicyl and Inostiol and taking Vistaril as necessary.  I’m really hoping for a breakthrough somewhere, sometime, but it’s been 13 years already and I’ve kind of just accepted that this is the way it’ll be, although I still remain optimistic.
