I'm a guy so obviously I haven't any experience with this, but a lot of people have posted on this forum about this. The thing is, they started having their emotional problems only after going on a form of birth control that alters hormones. You don't say if that's what happened to you. If your problem preceded getting this and wasn't therefore caused by it, then getting them removed probably won't help any. If it all started after getting them, they might very well have caused the problem by altering your hormones in a way your brain doesn't like very much. In the latter case, getting them removed should help resolve the problem as your hormones get back into balance.
