Soon to be father with severe anxiety.

My fiancè has had severe anxiety for about 3 years now, it's really affected his life. We are expecting our first child in September and every day it seems like he's getting more and more distant. Any way I could possibly ease this for him?

He doesn't listen to me. I'm going to keep trying to convince him to get help. Thank you both!

I agree. If your fiance isn't getting help...he truly needs to and especially with the baby coming.  It never gets better without the help of therapy and/or medication. Talk to him about professional help so he can get back on track to feeling better.  Congratulations on the baby and I wish you both all the best!

When you say severe anxiety what do you mean? How is he acting and what are his symptoms?

Has he gotten any help? It will not get better on its own. He probably needs a combination of therapy and possibly meds to help him out this condition.
