Anxiety can cause stomach problems. Many of us get the upset stomachs. gastritis, GERD, and so on. During an attack you can also get the ringing in your ears. I hate that!
It sounds like you may have some depression going on too. Can you get in to see your Dr to talk about these problems?
Being under a great deal of stress can cause anxiety and depression. I would recommend seeing your Dr, like I mentioned, and think about getting in to counseling. There are also meds to help but I always recommend counseling first to see how that goes.
remar,
Thank you for your post. You may want to read some previous posts I made online (you can read them I think by clicking on my member name) but I have been under a tremendous amount of stress lately between work and some potential health concerns. Most of the health stuff has subsided however I still have this fear of my health concern. I just don't feel right and haven't for almost two months now. I just want to feel like myself again. I had a really good day today and then about an hour ago started to get an upset stomach again. I have never been diagnosed with anxiety. I've never ever really had health problems other than allergies.
When I really think about my health concern as mentioned in previous posts the answer to me sometimes is that I'm just not going to be around to have to deal with them. I have never ever had these kinds of thoughts in my life.
That sounds like the way I get time and time again, morning's are the worst and as the day gets closer to lunch time the feelings kinda start coming back..... lasting until near bed time =/ and then normally going away.... I get the upset stomach sometimes.... I have gone to the doctors and had tests done, everything comes back clear... they says its anxiety and that it has MANY ugly faces to toss your way, lightheaded, upset stomach, weak, cant eat or sleep ext..... to me its sounds like anxiety cause I get the same feelings as you... Go to the doctor and get checked just to be sure but to me it really sounds like anxiety.
It's always best to see your Dr when you start having any new symptoms. Have you been under a lot of stress lately? Have you ever been diagnosed with anxiety? What is your work environment like? Sorry about all the questions but the more we know the better we can try to help you.
