I have no idea eather , Hope they work soon. Thanks!
I'm kind of curious why your Dr would put you on this med. I'm wondering why he did'nt start you off on an SSRI only? Hopefully you will start feeling better soon. Like Nursegirl said, if you don't, then you can talk to your Dr about a different med.
Thanks every body for the help and answering my questions.
Yes Im on Seroquel 100mg and citalopram 20 mg this is my first time on any medication I was put on this medication for panic attack I only started having panic attacks or any kind of anxiety in November and then the feeling weird all day happend 2 weeks later, I'm only 20 so My doctor said supposably that Is the age In your 20s when ppl start having different mental illness.
I agree with Nursegirl.
We may have talked before. I think I asked why you were put on Seroquel in the first place? Is this your first time taking any antidepressant?
The same rules apply as with the initial adjustment period, so to be fair, you should give the medication another 4-6 weeks after your dosage was increased. Many times improvements can be seen before that, but to be safe, being that everyone responds differently to medications, 4-6 weeks will ensure you've given it ample time.
If after that time, you STILL aren't seeing improvements, then it's definitely time to speak with your doc and reevaluate your regimen.
I would say to give another week or two and if it not working to try upping it again or to try something else.
Ok , because i was put on seroquel 50 mg and 10 citalopram and where on them for 6 weeks and they did nothing at all, so he upped the seroquel to 100mg and citalopram to 20mg and its been 2 weeks and still nothing , :S
It's really hard to say. It could be a few days to a few weeks.
