Anxiety or...?
So, it all started when I had a viral infection back in august. I had a slight soar throat, a cough and chills. Oh also my lymph node was swollen near my grok and didn't go away until a month later t. I over came that in like a week. But it still lingered around and i had diarrhea and nausea. after being sick with the viral infection i became more anxiety prone because i always looked up symptoms i had on the internet. Once october came around i had strep throat, took anti biotics for it. Then came November and i noticed discoloration above my left eyelid it was very dry and flaked, but it was non itchy. Next a white line occurred on both cheeks of my mouth, along with some discoloration. Then, i noticed darks spots on my upper left leg. white discoloration on my right forearm. and black spots on the middle of my chest. Not to mention during this whole time i'm in college and i have no appetite from school food and i have anxiety with constipation. Were still in November and i start losing my taste and i start salivating more. This continues. But once i went home for thanksgiving all of these symptoms went away except for the spots and discoloration.
once i come back to school in december i become very constipated my taste fades away allittle i noticed my tongue was very white and this is when i become sick from a cold thats going around school. this is when i completely lose my sense of smell and most of my taste.
I'm very scared that i won't regain them. Are most of these symptoms caused by anxiety or some other disease? HELP!

Your idea that lopin is worried about an STD is putting words in his mouth as he never mentioned it at all.
Going undiagnosed all this time with the fears he has is a surefire way to develop anxiety. Lopin, I am not suggesting there is anything physically wrong with you so do not take my post that way.

I thought this was the issue, thats why asked asked the sexual question. You have the classic HIV scare syndrome. This has become almost an epidemic. What was your exposure and understanding the risk will help.
Anxious of the possibility of contracting any std from april since i had that viral infection. But yes, i will contact my doctor, i've just never had so many symptoms in a short period of time. Thanks anyways!
Hi lopin, If you had protected sex then am suggesting nothing. Anxiety can cause many things you mention. What are you so anxious about? 100% of people in the world get sick, why dont you go see your doctor and have a good checkup with some blood work.
