Going to the DR today...need help.

So I have been on 15mg of Lexapro for 3 weeks after being on Lexapro 10mg for 2 weeks.  Still feel a bit anxious mostly in mornings but it has improved.  My question is that my doc mentioned going up to 20mg a while back and I am sure if I tell her that I am not 100% that she will want me to go up to 20mg today.  Is there big improvement over 20mg of Lexapro compared to 15mg?  Also, I tapered off of paxil cr 25mg over the first 2 weeks while taking Lexapro 10mg so I could still be feeling the effects of Paxil withdrawal like some of you have stated.  Just looking for a little bit of direction since it is crunch time.  Thanks in advance.

When I was on Lexapro, I consulted their website.  It recommends 20mg for anxiety, 10mg for depression.  Not that this is set in stone, as stated well above, but it's something.

Don't worry about your dosages.  Leave this up to the doctor and let him/her decide what's more appropriate for you.  Tell the doctor exactly how you feel and what you are experiencing.
Take the pills as prescribed and don't give it a second thought.
Everyone is different when it comes to medication. What's good for one may not be for another. Concentrate on things other then your every feeling and worry.  Try to keep your mind occupied with other things and try to have a positive outlook on the future and give the medication time to make all this easier for you.  Good luck.
