Could be anxiety, I agree with maguliera. I'm no expert or doctor, but I have had panic disorder for 17 years. Here's what I know for sure, everybody may have similar symptoms, but they are all still different for each of us. Sometimes during my panic attacks my chest feels like there is an elephant sitting on it, I can't draw in a deep breath, my exhales are shakey, and of course this starts the hyperventilation cycle. Sometimes, I'm just dizzy and sweaty and feel unreal. There are a lot of medical conditions that can mimic anxiety, though, so you want to be sure to have a complete check-up with your doctor. Tell him/her you want tests to rule out all diseases that could be causing you anxiety-like symptoms. You just have to make sure nothing physical is going on. I know how frustrating it is, because I know the pain is real even if no one can find "evidence" of it happening. Wishing you the best.
Hello there,
It sounds like you are having anxiety attacks. I used to feel the exact same way until a doctor told me that what I was having is anxiety. In my case I used to feel a lot of pain in my chest and was very very hard to breath, so bad to the point I thought I was having some kind of heart attacks. Anyway the worst were my thoughts. I kept thinking about having a hearth condition and I would freak myself out just thinking about it and thinking and thinking more until it got really bad, I thought I was going crazy, seriously. For me it was like a chain of events, one thing lead to another.
You need to look at maybe new things in your life that may cause some disconfort. For me it was that I moved to a new country, got married, was having problems with husband and all in only 1 month. So much stress was making me go crazy (or so I thought).
Remember that thoughts are only thoughts and nothing else, they can't hurt you and if you are having anxiety attacks there is always therapy or medication or relaxation techniques, something will work for you. I suggest you read a book about anxiety to determine if it is what you have and good luck.
