Heart Palpitation and Wanting to Catch breath. Is it Anxiety?

Hi Im a 15 year Old boy.. I started going on a diet 2 months ago..One day my friend asked me whats the normal number of pulse when at rest... since that day I have been constantly checking on my pulse since it gets fast.. I went to a doctor and he told me I was all fine there was no problem.. then after a few days, I felt something strange again.. I got dizzy.. I was thinking that I might have a heart attack or something. So the doctor did a check up again with EKG and Heart X ray and said it was perfectly fine Only I have some palpitations.. After a few days I felt i needed taking more deep breaths.. Then i read its because i breath through my mouth most of the time.. My dad says its because im getting thinner so the heart pumps freely.. thanks for your help☺️

It sounds like you're developing an anxiety problem.  You have the symptoms.  It's unlikely you have a heart problem at your age, though not impossible, but even thinking you do just because you've gotten obsessed with checking your pulse -- you made it this far just fine without doing that, right? -- shows something is bugging you and making you anxious.  It might be time to see a therapist who specializes in anxiety treatment to nip this kind of thinking in the bud.
