Heat and anxiety

Does anyone else notice when they are suffering from anxiety that they cannot tolerate the heat?  When I come out of my home or work and it is very hot I feel as if I am thrown into a panic attack.  Even if it is only for short periods of time?  I start to feel dizzy, short of breath, heart rate increases, off balance.

I have the exact same issue and it's annoying as hell.  My Doctor wants me to be tested for asthma.  She thinks carrying an inhaler might help the symptoms

My anxiety is always worse in the summer than in the winter. And I notice more panic attacks when I'm hot. Heat can increase your heart rate which can help induce a panic attack I guess but other than that I have no explanation for it.

I know exactly what you mean.  My anxiety disorder started in April of 2010.  Before that i was very active and in decent shape.  i would play soccer 3 to 4 times a week in al kinds of weather especially in the heat since i am in Texas.  Now if i am in the heat for any longer than 5 minutes i feel shaky and weak.  Hard to describe.  Basically if its not under 70 degrees i feel like i am gonna have a heat stroke.  This goes along with a ton of other things i have been feeling.

What kind of shape are you in?  I am the opposite, if I am anxious I hate the cold and really hate cold sweats.
