Aches and pains are so VERY common with anxiety; especially with health anxiety. In my experience, we can spend every waking minute searching and trying to interpret our bodily sensations in our very own way. In my experience, we also tend to catastrophicsize what we feel; for example a headache does not mean a headache, it is a tumor. Furthermore, although the internet is a great source of information, it can really cause one to worry, because you can tailor any symptom to mean anything. Health anxiety really stinks, but if your doc has cleared you, confronting this through therapy is a good way to confront this.
that helps alot... thanks.. my back hurts too, it's like my back hurts right where my upper stomach hurts.. its hurts alot when i do dishes.. is that weird??
Hello. I have a hiatal hernia and you dont have to have heartburn to have it. I do not have heartburn at all. I had a lump in my throat after i ate and then i had an EGD and it showed a very small one. They are harmless, so dont worry if you did have one. My whole family has them. My upper stomach hurt and my dad has one and his back hurts him. So, dont panic, its ok! :-)
Hope this helps.
no not really! what could it be then? just a mucsle thing??
If you had a hiatus hernia, you would be feeling a burning sensation in your chest, like "heartburn", especially when you are lying down. Does it feel that way when you lie down?
