i just experienced that the other day!! I think they are correct. i read about visual migraines and was confused becuase i had no pain but found that is often the case. i fell asleep and the visual part went away but was very tired and my neck hurt. i read it can be a 4-7 day cycle. just have to wait it out calm as you can. I am not a doc just sharing what i read on the internet
Since this is happening in both eyes I also feel it is "visual migraines" as acdmom stated. They are migraines without the pain, and are harmless although a bit scary. But it's always best to see your doctor to be on the safe side. You get used to them and I have found that often when I feel one coming on, I have been able to stop it with deep breathing exercises. I can go years without one and then out of no where...one hits me. I can't see at all, it's like my eyes are glass and I'm trying to see through all the shattered pieces. So, if I'm driving I pull over and within 10-20 minutes it's goes away. Don't let it scare you, but do see your doctor. I hope this helps and wish you all the best!
I have the same thing - my doctor called it visual migranes. It is very hard to see clearly but it passes in about 5 or 10 mins. Then I seem to get very tired - I get them instead of headaches but it is a signal to slow down. I would still see your doctor for a confirmation but - I would bet that's what it is.
It could be a number of things which is why you should see your doctor.
He may refer you on to an opthamologist and/or neurologist.
Our eyes are our most precious sense, see your doctor soon.
I wish you the best
