Hi
I would think very seriously before taking medications.
Withdrawal from these meds can be a horror show. I have specific experience with those issues, and I chose to go off meds and stay off. I have difficulty being creative, or thinking on these meds.
If you are seeing a Medical Doctor MD (Psychiatrist) he/she will try to get you to take meds.
If you are seeing a therapist, you have a good chance of feeling better pretty quick with weekly therapy, and good mental health activities.
The best thing I have found for immediately feeling better, is to take a 1 mile walk (or more).
Walking helps process emotions to the thinking part of the brain. It helps all your body's systems work their best.
When you are sluggish, a walk will make that go away.
I get up early, and take a nice walk at dawn. The walk brings up my heart rate early, so my digestive system is working well and providing me energy, after a hearty breakfast. My whole day is better after a walk.
Fresh air helps me feel sleepy in the nighttime. So walking or being in the garden facilitates sleep for me. I keep my bed room window at least cracked.
Tea is a very healthful drink. No bottled tea!   Hot water and teabag. It has half the caffeine of coffee, and the caffeine effect seems  more gentle... Wellbeing as opposed to geared up. Some people cut out caffeine all together.
Make sure you get 15 minutes of sun on your skin per day. It produces the vit D that prevents depression.
Having a person to talk to, with the same problem is helpful, because they can empathize and you can help each other.

I was the very same just a month ago. I had every symptom. Some worse than others and I had reached my limit too. I did not want to be dependent on a pill to get me through the day but enough was enough. I now taking Paxil 20mg daily and what a huge difference. I was also given Ativan for attacks. I have no side effects from either. I hope you find relief from your anxiety too. Best of luck and remember you are not alone.
