It sounds like you may have a hormonal problem.  Sometimes regular docs are simply not well educated about this, but functional physicians (psychiatrists who still practice medicine), practitioners of integrated medicine and natural practitioners are.  Keep looking.

Try see a naturalpathy doctor I have recently been having anxiety and panic and am scared to leave my house my doctor has me doing natural things to reduce stress because stress causes anxiety so try things to boost your brain health such as fish oil multivitamin, theanine, GABA. B-complex, NAC, vit D I know it sounds like a lot but at least it's all natural just make sure you but your vitamen from a reliable source not a drug store changing your diet getting rid of processed foods and limiting intake of sugar caffeine and alcohol sign up for yoga get involved in an anxiety group and don't do things that are overly strenuous also get an allergy test done

Hello. It sounds like you are under the care of a physician. Have you expressed these concerns to him or her? Also, always remember you can get a second opinion if you do not feel comfortable with a doctor’s recommendation. It is important to find a doctor who will take the time to address your questions and concerns. Considering there is mental distress involved (anxiety, social phobia, stress), it might also be helpful and important to meet with a therapist or counselor to assess any mental health issues that needs clinical attention. Good luck!  Patricia L. Pitts, PhD  The Bella Vita  Los Angeles, CA
