If it is diverticulitis, you can easily control it through your diet by not eating any nuts or anything with seed that will get caught in the pockets if your intestines and cause the pain.
Great... Now I'm researching that... If that's what it is, can it leave on it's own?
That does not sound like IBS to me either. I remember when I had it many years ago due to a stressful month on rescue and Metamucil did the trick. With "Cnote" presenting with lower left pain I would have to suspect diverticulitis.
Sorry... lol. But that's what my Dr. said it probably was? lol.
Oh...and talk with someone who has TRUE IBS...you'd be surprised at how much yours probably arent even close.
You are using "IBS" in general terms. It's not just a "syndrome" that comes and goes...it isn't a "symptom" of something....it is a disorder, a chronic one at that. YOU DON'T HAVE IBS.
Now, WHAT did we just talk about young man? You are focusing WAAAAY too much on this! You are super young and healthy. Follow the diet (for more than a day)...and give it some time (more than 2 days). There can be an innumerable amt of reasons for bowel changes....anxiety being one of them....and yes, even after anxiety starts getting better.
Now...quit obsessing about this once and for all....and quit using "IBS" as some kind of generic "fit all" term for your poo issues. :0)
