IS THIS NORMAL...?

Hi everyone! Today I am not feeling so well.I am very shaky and antsy and my chest is hurting really bad. I want to go the hospital but I've gone so many times that my bill exceeds an amount higher than the skyscrapers. I'm so scared. Is this normal? I've had anxiety attacks for the longest; like how can I be sure that this is not one or is or whatever...? Does anyone know or is my best bet, to just go to the hospital?

Sorry to hear that today is not a good day.  But, that's all it is, "not a good day" so take it easy if you can.  Do something you love doing, watch a funny movie, talk with friends, read a good book, listen to music, try practicing some yoga or breathing, in fact ANYTHING that will allow you an hour to come out of yourself.

If after that hour you are not feeling better then call your doctor.  If you are feeling a bit better then chances are it's your anxiety that's giving you hell today.  Now, don't look at your watch every five minutes or that will only stress you out even more, but if you are concerned about your hospital bill, can understand that, and honestly it does sound like anxiety to me, then give yourself that hour and chances are you will feel better.

To relive that antsy feeling, I tried something new the other day, when I was in the car I could feel my heart start to miss beats, then my breathing got labored then I felt shakey and antsy.... kept on saying to myself "oh my god, I'm not going to make it..."etc.  THEN, I remembered something I had read that day and tried it, I let my shoulders drop and my arms relax and just let my body kind of sink into the chair (all this while driving, not easy), and believe it or not it DID help.  Try it, you never know!

Good luck!
