The list of things that can trigger anxiety's endless! It's unlikely that you are unique here, so be assured that anxiety can be treated & you will learn how to cope with it. Simply put, it's a very common problem, it can be even cured, but may need the help of your Dr/Psych/Therapist or all three ~ along with friends/family/support available 24/7 here. Somehow you'll need to find what helps you best. Am sure you're not expecting an instant cure? Whatever effort it takes will be extremely well rewarded. Be positive in thought/deed ~& that will certainly help.Best wishes.
It does vary from person to person. For many it's feeling trapped, like in a car, or the corner of a restaurant. For some it's being in open places (like the mall or grocery store)where the fear of embarassment of having a panic attack overwhelms you and as a result....you have a panic attack. As scary as they are...they are harmless, so know that nothing bad will happen. Mine was while driving and losing control while driving with my kids in the car. I hope this helps and take care.
it's funny... my last trigger was a tingling thumb and a tingly lips sensation. SIMPLE AS THAT! The tingling only lasted a few minutes... but it caused me to have panic and anxiety... now its been a week and im still have anxiety from THAT SMALL TRIGGER.
Ive come to realize over the years, that I have Health Anxiety, so most things "body sensations" related that don't feel right... usually trigger an attack for me. but not all the time. I also think I suffer from a wee bit of just generalized anxiety as well.
My main symptom now, is lightheaded, nervous stomach, and heart palpitations... EVERYDAY.
It will leave though!! And, in my opinion, sex and or masturbation can calm you down. It releases natural endorphin in your brain. Masturbation or sex shouldn't be used though 24 7 though as a drug/release for all of your anxiety if you suffer from long term anxiety. lol.
If youre just suffering from simple panic attacks from time to time, SURE, masturbate! I used to do that, and it helped my panic attacks leave!
There is light at the end of the tunnel my friend! You'll be on your own little journey, and you will discover what works for you. Just be patient. =)
Anything you can imagine can trigger an anxiety attack...........for someone. What triggers YOURS is something you must discover on your own.
If you are having anxiety attacks, think about WHERE and WHEN you've had them.
If you've had several at the Mall, then you know SOMETHING about the Mall is a trigger. You then need to figure out exactly what that trigger is. Some people have very specific triggers, like public speaking. They know if they have to get up and speak in front of a crowd, they will have an anxiety attack. People who have very specific, and therefore, known triggers, are "lucky" in some ways. They know exactly what they need to work on to overcome their anxiety. For the rest of us who apparently have anxiety for no reason, we are the ones in the leaky canoe. But there is ALWAYS a reason for our anxiety. We just have to work a bit harder to figure out what the root cause of our anxiety is and learn to deal with it. This is usually done through therapy and often a combination of therapy plus medication.
I hope I answered your question.
Peace
