ya i know wat u mean i havent been diaganosed by the doctor...but my father is a doctor and he brought me to another doctor as well they said itz not v serious but i will have to live with it.....they did not say itz POTS or wat....but when i surf the net i have found out all my symptoms comes under POTS or Anxiety Disorder.......thnx for ur suggestions!!
If you did not get a diagnosis of POTS from a doctor, do NOT try to treat your symptoms as such. You seem to be avoiding my question about whether you were diagnosed with POTS or if this is something you have maybe decided on your own could be wrong.
Be VERY careful, there are good reasons why doctors go to school for 8-12 years.
So, again, has a doctor actually diagnosed you with POTS? If so, what were his/her recommendations? Any kind of suggestions I could give you would be very generalized. Your doctor would be the one to formulate a plan for you that was individualized to YOU taking into consideration your complete medical history and other factors.
What doctor had said like u have to live with it and u dont need to worry about this... and i know some ways to deal with POTS...ill really appreciate if u can tell me personally how to deal with it and decrease it to the minimum..Thnx
Have you been diagnosed with "POTS", or Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome? If not, this is something only a doctor can diagnose. If you you HAVE been diagnosed, there are several options to manage the condition, which primarily is about controlling symtpoms with lifestyle changes.
What has the doctor said?
itz POTS most probably.....so if anyone help me wif how to deal wif pots i will be thankfull..thanxxx
hi every one ...can any1 help me wif this....my echo was done in august 2009 and it was NORMAL..and my this problem(mentioned in question above) started in feb 2010....does anyone think i would have developed a heart disesase within this peroid??? Pls let me know if this could have happened!!!!!!!!!
Your thyroid test was done by your cardiologist? Your blood samples should be sent to an endocrinologist to analyze for possible thyroid issues. Maybe that's what you meant to say. But anyway I agree with nursegirl. It is weird that you fainted and are having these symptoms all the sudden for no reason. I'd see a good doctor about your symptoms again. It could be anxiety due to fear of fainting again but why you fainted in the first place is weird.
Anxiety will not cause you to actually faint. You need to see a doctor about this. It may be orthostatic hypotension (where your BP drops significantly during position changes...sitting to standing, lying to standing, etc). It could be related to a few other things also.
Like I said...anxiety can cause one to feel dizzy and lightheaded, but actual fainting (with a loss of consciousness) will not occur from anxiety alone.
Get to your doctor to work this out!
Hey...one more symptom...if i am sitting or standing straight..then when i bend my head down (only head from the neck)...then i feel kinda pressure in my head...plz suggestions guys!!!
Guys i am planning to be a doctor .....joining MBBS most probably in 2012 itself....do u think my condition will affect my this future!!! Plz suggestions guys thanks
Yes of course lol I just got told take 3 deep breathes it blocks a hormone that causes anxiety also
thnx thnx!!! u mean the closing eyes and relax breathing ??
Sorry but the best thing is to really close your eyes relax and breath.... Seems stupid I know but it's only because you put it in you own head that enshrine you try to go out and do something you are going to faint..... Just tell yourself thay your not going to faint and that you can dio it... Think positive
sry i didnt really get ur point !! can u recommend any suggestion for me??
I sometimes have anxiety when I'm in the shower and it gets too steamy and too hot I feel as if I am going to faint but I know it's my anxiety.... They say thay when it's a sunny day and you're out look down at the ground that works for me... Plus the hreat probably freaks you out because you did faint
hmmm...ya it makes us feel that it iz the big problem but itz just worry....but i dont understand why in warmness or heat my symptoms increase !!
Yes u r right...it is like....i know it is a fear but hard for me to come out of it.....and it feels real....i think maybe my problem is 40 % nd the rest is fear...but it is uncomfortable ~~
I'm having a panic attack rite now and still freaks me out that this is a heart attack..it's horrible can't get away from it can't see or plan my future clearly with it...it's always a symptom there...chest pain, dizzy spells, tingling in arms n feet, short breath, fear of dying I really dnt understand this brain game...physical symptoms r there but then there is nothing wrong with physical body it's all mental how difficult it is to agree :(
