Is this anxiety?

Ok, so sometimes I get in this mood where I am sooooo stressed, mist the time I can't figure out why, I almost can't function, it makes me feel like I'm going crazy, i feel trapped and like ill never be back to normal, but then hours later it goes away and I'm fine, but during these stressed hours I'm naseous and can't eat or think straight and I get really fatigued until it goes away, what's wrong with me?

I can see how the diagnosis of Stress certainly does not sound like an exciting diagnosis and I am surprised your doctor just dismisses it when the newest findings of stress and physical health are alarming and are being seriously looked at by Medical Professionals....As patients we must not be afraid to ask our doctors what we can do about stress and I am wondering if his/her suggestions to you were put aside because you are looking for a more exotic label for what you are going through physically.

Searching for a label in the sub categories of stress takes up a lot of time that might be better used in your recovery of stress.  Studies have shown that exercise, journaling, spending time with friends and family, having an interesting hobby to work on, having a passion in your life like photography or writing or volunteering are all excellent ways to lower your stress...Talking therapy in the form of one to one therapy or a group therapy can also make a huge difference in our lives.

I do wish you the very best

Thnx but I've talked to my doctor and he just dismisses it and says its stress, I can't think of what else it could be

I do hope that you have had a work up with your medical professional lately.  Many many physical illnesses can mimic panic attacks, and until you get a clean bill of physical health, I don't feel that I can tell you much
more beyond this.  If you come up with a clean bill of physical health
you might want to ask your doctor for a referral to a therapist or group therapy where you can learn from your peer group how to keep these attacks at bay and move forward into a more stable and less scary
life.

Good luck to you

I'd say panic attacks.  See your doctor and ask, perhaps he can give you a mild anti-anxiety med to use when this happens.  Blessings - Blu
