If God is the only person that can help you, then I'm sure you are praying for divine intervention for all the problems in your life. If for some reason that intervention doesn't come, and only you know how long you can wait feeling like you do, then you should consider the alternative in the form of a psychologist.
No.. I can't go to one of them.. They won't help
Right everyone has a purpose and the purpose of therapist and psychiatrist is to help people like you.
You don't understand. I only person that can help me is God. No one knows my life story. No one know whats wrong with me but God. That doctor there in the office, can't help me. That phsiciotrist can't help me either. That medication won't help. Only God, my saviour can help and thats something no doctor or anyone can change or take away from me. God created me, I have a purpose on this earth and no one will take that away from me. I said what I need to say.
You need to be checked for sleep apnea. Your doctor can check for that and the numb legs and the brain tumor/anxiety and the appendix incision problems.
Please reconsider the advice for psychotherapy.
But last night I'm sure I stopped breathing..
In order to treat anxiety you need to have the proper tools and to learn the proper tools to help yourself you need to see a psychologist so make an appointment and go. And in answer to your question, the feeling like you cannot breath is attributable to anxiety. It is very treatable if you seek treatment. Take care.
No, I don't have any respitory problems..
You could be having panic attacks. Anxiety can do a lot to someone. The best thing to do is to go see your doctor and get checked out.
Hey there, first of all take it easy and try to relax.
I am not sure if I can give you a direct answer as to what brought on this little event, but sometimes when you are just at the "edge" of falling asleep, you can get what is called a hypnic jerk, usually its caused by your brain misinterpreting your relaxed muscles a if you are falling and thus, you jerk awake, and I do wonder if it can cause you to involuntarily hold your breath. Occasionally when I'm really tired, and am on the verge of driting off I get this jerk where I feel like I'm falling and sit up, taking a deep breath. Its only happened to me a couple of times but I honestly think it is just a normal thing some people experience.
Do you have any respiratory issues at all? Asthma or chronic bronchitis, etc?
Hope you're feeling better. ;-)
