Lorazapam

I am on a very low dose of Lorazapam, when started I was on 1mg, 3 times a day, I went down to 2 times a day, and then went to .5 in the afternoon, and 1mg at night. Now I am at none during the day and 1 at night, I think I am ready to get rid of the night does, should I just cut it in half for a week and then go to none? Or should I go to .25 for a week as well?? I would like to get to a point where I use it when needed only.

Any opinions would be wonderful!

I have an appointment Tuesday to go over this with her, BUT she has given me advice for weaning medications before (Lexapro) and was very quick about the weaning process, I felt horrible. I guess I just wanted to go in there with some sort of idea of how it is normally done.

My opinion, and that of everyone on this forum, is that you need to consult with your doctor about changing the dose of your medication. We are not qualified to tell you how to taper off your meds. A phone call to his office should get you the advice you need.
I wish you well and applaud your desire to get off medication.
