That drug is a strong stimulant that is controversial when used for depression but not unheard of. It's main use is for ADD. It's an upper, basically. Normally, this can cause anxiety in a person without it, so it wouldn't normally be given to someone with anxiety, but it appears you've tried a lot of drugs for your depression and I'm guessing your psychiatrist believes your anxiety is caused by your depression, something that is very common. I would just watch out for whether your anxiety goes way up, and I would also think your Lorazepam question should be posed to your psychiatrist but I would guess he'd think it's fine since this drug is so speedy.
