M4 is very correct. kudos! Also, Zoloft can be taken in dosages of 200mg (or possibly higher) at a time. Stop getting online and reading all of those scary things! I know it is hard to do, but you are only scaring yourself and making yourself more anxious. If you have worries or questions, talk to your dr. These posts you can read online in random places are not always right and have no reliability.
I started at 50mg of Zoloft, and my dr. told me to up it to 100mg. Nothing bad is going to happen. Millions of people are on these medications. 100mg of Zoloft is nothing compared to how high of a dosage you could be on! :) good luck!

Hello there,
First of all you must now that there is almost no chance you get serotonin syndrome/toxicity with a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) class taken alone. They are way safer than Tricyclic anti-depressant in overdose. Serotonin toxicity is usually associated with very high overdoses or multiple drug ingestion. You should not worry about serotonin syndrome unless you actually take multiple 100mg Zoloft or mix it with other anti-depressants such as monoamine oxidase inhibitors ( MAOIs ), tricyclic antidepressants ( TCAs ), tetracyclic antidepressants ( TeCAs ), and serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors ( SNRIs ).
I would also avoid some ''natural'' over the counter supplements such as 5-HTP; Oxitriptan or anything related to tryptophan if you are very scared about serotonin syndrome.
Final word is don't worry about upping your Zoloft dose you it won't induce a serotonin syndrome because 100mg is way less than an overdose and if you don't mix it with other anti-depressants or serotonin acting drugs like described above your chance of serotonin toxicity is close to none at all.
Please consider that I'm not a doctor and you should consult your doctor if you are still worried.
Best regards,
M4
