Med Help for anxiety and depression

Anyone have any good ideas for a med i could ask my dr about for anxiety and depression.Last may i stopped xanax after 17 years cold turkey,,,,,was put in a mental hospital.they put me on 60 mg of cymbalta and 2 mg of risperadal for racing thughts and 1 mg of ativan,later changed to klonopin...they stopped the cymbalta in july because it caused dierehha.........was on klonopin till end of jan. was changed to xanax now im back on klonopin tapering off the xanax.Dr. took me off the risperdal in jan, when i had to go back inot a hospital from being stopeed off the klonopin(from being on it since june of last year till jan)because i thought it was maybe causing depression.In the hospital he put me on zoloft which made me worst depressed. We tried celexa again which i had been on i sept 08 thru nov 13 o8)it gave me dierehha again.......every drug seems to give me dierehha. Im trying to stop the xanax with the help of klonopin should have stopped it lat week but im scared. I need a med to help with my depression wandering thoughts and anxiety as even the klonopin isnt helping...and this dr i need to keep because i live in rural area and drs Pshy are so hard to find i drive 2220 miles to him
its like nothing can help me
Has anyone else stopped xanax using klonopin........been on the xanx since feb 08        any advice would be grat

I'm going to assume you mean you drive 220 miles to see this doctor. My one and only suggestion would be for you to drive an EXTRA 220 miles or an extra 440, or HOWEVER many you have to and get yourself to a large city and consult with a doctor there. Your rural doc has been playing ping pong with your mental health and it's time to RUN AWAY! He is a moron and a quack. I live in a very rural area as well, we have a doctor here we call "Dr.Death" because he will give you anything you ask for. I think you must be seeing his brother!
You need some heavy duty evaluation by a truly qualified doctor, preferrably a psychiatrist who can take care of both your mind AND your body! One who understands anti-anxiety & anti-depression meds. Do NOT ask your doctor for a recommendation!

You have spent too many years of your life fighting to feel better. This doctor has robbed you of what should have been yours many years ago. Don't waste one more minute with him.
