Zoloft isn't the only medication out there, if it affects you adversely. But if it's the only thing for you and you do have sexual side effects, a small dosage of Wellbutrin can help. But then, of course, you're on two drugs instead of one, but it's information for you to do with what you will.

I just wanted to comment that you really seem to have an excellent attitude and this will help in overcoming the anxiety. Don't forget to include talk therapy either with a psychiatrist or psychologist as this is an essential part of working through anxiety and learning coping skills. peace and luck to you
Sertraline is Zoloft, and is actually THE most commonly prescribed antidepressant for anxiety.
As for your side effects, some that you mention aren't all that common. What did your doctor say about it? How long were you on the Zoloft the last time around?
Sexual side effects are very common with these kinds of meds. Some people notice improvements, and some don't. A good bit of people report some kind of sexual dysfunction while on an antidepressant such as Zoloft.
I DO agree that with normal, common side effects, as long as they're not severe and debilitating, often times one has to just try to kind of stick it out and wait to see if they will improve, which typically happens after about 2 weeks. And yes, a lot of times, one has to feel a little worse before they feel better.
I would discuss this with your doctor, and see if the side effects are something that he/she wants to consider when starting you on a medication again. Your doc may recommend something totally different for you to try.
What else are you doing to address the anxiety? Therapy? While medications can help control the symptoms of anxiety, it's not a cure. It's important to work on it in other ways as well, like in therapy.
Good luck to you, I hope you start seeing some progress soon! Let us know!
It's odd to be on sertraline for anxiety, as I thought that was for depression. I hope it works for you.
