Nausea - Abdominal pain : psychosomatic or medical?

Hi!

I'm a female entrepreneur of 29 years old.

I came back from a trip to Panama with severe nausea, stomach cramps and low appetite. The diagnostic was H pylori but the test was undetermined. Just moved to Austin from NYC, I saw a gastroenterologist and took the tri-therapy of antibiotics and after 10 days I was back to normal! But since then I still have nausea/ abdominal pain on a regular basis but very supportable, it's just annoying. No fever or no other symptoms. I can eat normally. I did blood/urine/stool tests and abdomen ultrasound that were both normal. I'm not pregnant and my last annual gynecologist exam was normal. I don't know what to do and was wondering if I should do more tests like fibroscopy or try to see a therapist to know if it is psychosomatic due to a lot of changes/ anxiety in my life after this H pylori episode. The H pylori test came back negative after treatment.
It's periodic, sometimes it comes for 3/4 days then leave for 2 weeks and then comes back again.. since 3 months now. Really hard for me to accept nausea/ pain can be related to stress or anxiety. Please need your help!

Do you feel anxious?  Suffering irrational fears?  Anxious people have anxiety, not just physical symptoms.  A diagnosis of h-pylori is problematic, because it exists in everyone.  In some, it gets entrenched and causes ulcers and their associated symptoms, while in most they just flow in and out.  A therapist would not be able to tell you if it's psychosomatic.  They can help if you truly are suffering from anxiety, but you don't sound like someone who is.  Look, a wise soul once told me, if you do something associated with certain things and you get certain things, the most likely cause is doing those things.  You went to Panama, a place associated with mosquitoes and water-borne diseases by virtue of climate and thus a lot of viruses and bacterial infections, and you came back with symptoms of that.  I'd keep searching in that direction.
