Nausea and Anxiety

Hello, I am a 18 year old female suffering from anxiety and depression. I've suffered from anxiety since I was 15 but have been able to deal with it on my own until now. I recently lost my grandmother who I was extremely close to and I dropped out of University to grieve. I went to my doctor and he prescribed me Quetiapine; and drug used to treat Schizophrenia and Bi-Polar disorder. Obviously, he does not know me as I show very little to zero symptoms of Bi-Polar disorder. I guess my question comes next. I have felt nauseous day in and day out; especially in the mornings and at night time. I have body twitches, clenched jaw, racing heart, skipped beats, night sweats, lack of sleep, constant pictures running through my mind, the whole shabang. The list is long and endless really. But the one that concerns me the most is the nausea as I always am thinking I'm pregnant. Do any other females (or males!) feel this way? Can anyone give me some words of wisdom to get through this tough time? Thanks.

I just wanted to say that my grandma passed away in january and I have been dealing with horrible anxiety. Nausea is the worst for me. I've lost a lot of weight from it as I've lost my appetite. I also get headaches insomnia and diarrhea. I also dropped out of college to grieve. I really miss her, I cry a lot. I just try to think about the good times and be happy bc I know shed want me to be.

Hello, Taylore. I saw your question and i jsut had to answer.
Im almost 24 now, and ive had major anxiety disorder for a very long time. And i can tell you the side effects can be killer. It wont jsut give you Nausea but itll also cause Vomiting, Headaches/dizziness, Diahrea, Dehydration, and light head.
I know its not easy to lose a loved one. And im very sorry for your loss. But you need to move on eventually, You cant just continue dwelling in your grandmothers death. She brang your mother that brought you into this world for a reason. And thats to be successful. And i bet you right now she wants you to be the brightest star out there. I know i do. Even though its rough, You gotta get over that bump. And ill be here to help/guide you if oyu wish, because i know deeply its tough. I respect your needs.
Well as for those symptoms of yours. Im 2 months pregnant. And ive been 6 months pregnant before... oh boy... nightmare.. its not fun unless your ready.  Ive been vomiting every morning and night too,  ive basically had all the same symptoms youve had, Maybe your beginning to become Bulemic, Maybe its from Stress, Maybe its from something simple like dehydration.
As for these pictures, what kind of pictures are they, are they from your past , is it in the future or is it current pictures. Because i know what your talking about. I have the same problem sept i cant ever get him off my mind, hes branded onto my brain :(.

Just give me more information and i bet i can figure out whats wrong with you. My mother was a doctor.. And ill be pleased to help you out if you need it.

Sincerally- Carolina. <3

But from what i think it could possibly be; Its probably not pregnancy if youve gotten two pregnancy tests and used them to accuracy. Youll find your answer.

I have been through everything you listed in your post accept for the body twitches, for me it was more of a falling asleep feeling or like parts werent getting enough blood or something.

Its funny because when this all started for me, nausea was my first symptom. After my very first panic attack at college, i woke up the next morning horribly sick and it took my stomach about 6 months to go back to "normal" or at least tolerable. But ever since then yes i feel nauseous all the time. I even changed my whole diet to make things better, I had to completely cut out all forms of dairy especially milk. I went to drinking nothing but water and eating nothing but things i cook myself.

For me, the morning time is when my stomach feels the worst.

If you are worried that your pregnant i would go get a test just so you can put you mind to rest knowing that you arent pregnant if that is the case.

but yes, constant nausea is common amognst those with GAD.

And just my oppinion... i wouldnt be taking any sort of medication for bipolar disorder or schizophrenia if you dont have either one....

i would suggest that if you want medications to go to a physchiatrist, primary care doctors might know alot about the body and so forth, but their expertice is not in mental health care.
