Need some advice - plzzz

I have been several antidepressants for anxiety/depression/ocd. I feel good for a few weeks and then they seem to poop out until the next increase. I am currently on Prozac/Abilify. I am on 80mg of Prozac and was on 2 mg of the Abilify. I was doing well for a few week and then it seemed to poop  out on me again. So the Dr. upped my Abilify to 5 mg. I have been at that dose for week and I am feeling ton of anxiety, worse than before. Anyone have a similar experience, whether it has been with the same meds or different? I don't know if I should ask to be switched or hang in there a bit longer? I am not looking for a magic pill, but searching for the one that will provide me with consistent results. I know I don't have to feel this bad, I have been through this before and found a good middle.  any ideas or advice would be appreciated.

I do not know whether you have tried mental health talk therapy to counteract symptoms related anxiety/depression/ocd.  However, talk therapy in conjunction with psychotropic medications can be very helpful for these conditions.  If your Physician has not recommended you for mental health counseling, you might want to ask him or her for a referral.

Over the past 1 1/2, yes all were given the appropriate amount of time. My Dr say that my brain adapts rapidly to the meds?? I don't know if I am treatment resistant?? or just haven't found the right one for me this time around. I was on Lexapro for 5 years and went off because I was feeling fine. I then went for 2 years, w/o meds and did well. Of course the symptoms did come back, but the Lexapro didn't work this time around.

Hi there.  Usually it takes 6 to 8 weeks to figure out if a med is working.  Are you giving it that long?
