not sure how much to take.
my doctor prescribed 10 mg diazepam and i have never taken it before. the pharmacist told me to try to take 5mg to start because i was scared that it seemed like a bit of a strong dose. i have a bit of a strong anxiety issue so i was wondering should i take the 10 mg like prescribed? i am mostly worried of the sedative effect even though i wont take it unless my husband is home.
thankyou guys very much. i appreciate your help. to tell you the honest truth, i am very lucky i didnt take the ten mg because i went to the er with severe allergies. thank god im ok. thanks again!!!
I would agree with Ryan here. Starting at a low dose is not a bad idea as long as you do it through consultation with a 'professional.' Quite often, people forget to use their pharmacists for advice...it's free and they are very knowledgeable about what they are prescribing to you...and it is their job:)
