Exercise is excellent for anxiety so keep up the running.  The best things for you to do is to get into therapy, there is normally an underlying cause for our anxiety.  Once we find out what that is, we can deal with it and move on.  Sometimes it's not that easy and medication is required.  Make running your passion if need be, my son does this for his anxiety and has gone on to run marathons and ultrathons.  I walk 6 miles a day, it's my therapy. LOL  Seek help with this so you can get your life back, you don't want to  miss a second of it.  Take care.

video games are the in thing i know but put yours down look around there is a big wide world out there full of alsorts to do,you need to start doing more active things rather than just sitting at home playing games they dont stimulate you enough, try going out with friends maybe getting a hobby or a little job anything to keep you busy, and then come the end of the day you can just try relaxing and trying to get yourself into a night routine.

The more you alienate yourself from others, the worse this will get.  You know you are playing too many video games and not living in the real world while doing this, so you need to limit playing them.  Are you seeing a therapist?  If not this would help you a lot, not only to find out what is causing your anxiety but how to cope and get over it.  Start doing things that gets you out of the house and with friends, fun things to keep your mind occupied.  I know this is all scary for you, but it's very common and with help you can work thru this.  Staying busy gives you less time to worry which helps with the anxiety. Worry feeds your anxiety, so the less you worry the better. You're going to be fine, work at getting out with friends and doing things besides playing video games.  Always make sure you are breathing normally, often when we are anxious we tend to breathe more shallow, short breaths.  When you feel really stressed make sure you are breathing deeply, and slowly in thru your nose, hold for a couple of seconds and exhale slowly thru your mouth.  You can do this several times a day just to help with the stress.  You're not alone and we're always here for support, and we do understand what you're going thru, so stay with us.
