Please respond

Earlier tonight my shoulder was itchy so I itched it quite a bit because I was half asleep, and when I looked at my shoulder the area was red and there were a few tiny reddish purple pinpoint dots. Once the redness cleared up, the dots were still there. I'm frightened that it's petechiae from leukemia. I went to the hospital because I had a panic attack a couple months ago, and they took blood and did a bunch of tests on me because I fainted. Would the leukemia show up in blood tests? And could I have popped blood vessels from scratching too hard? I have extreme health anxiety by the way. Sorry for the length.

It won't go away in one night. I've had them for over 2 weeks.

Hey guys, thanks for replying. I didn't really realize that I stratched that hard. It's still there after one night of me noticing it but it seems like there is less.

You scratched too hard which drew blood to the surface of the skin. I've done this before without knowing. Don't worry about it. :)

I tried to respond earlier. Guess it didn't load. Anyways I get the same thing from scratching too hard/too much. Years later I'm fine. I was freaked out and got blood work done and that was all good. My fiancée grandfathers blood work (white blood cell) was way off when he was diagnosed. I'm sure you're ok. If it worried you or it gets worse talk to your doctor
