The ONLY responsible advice we can give is that of greenlydia's.
There really is NO amount of alcohol that is "safe" to consume if it is contraindicated with a medication (which it is, with most meds). A lot of docs will say it's okay to have ONE drink occasionally, but certainly not many drinks, and often.
This is something each individual person must dicuss with their doctor. Whatever the doctor recommends should be followed.
I agree, also with GL, that if a person finds themselves drinking to excess, and often, even though they have been cautioned against it, it's time to have a frank dicussion with his/her doctor.
ive had a few drinks aswell b4 & nufin happens to me either i read that the tablets just dont work properly & side effects get worse xx
i told my doctor and she said it was fine to drink but not drink loads. i dont take street drugs it was just in case i had a drink of my mates drink by accident xx
so if i kno im going to have a glass of wine that night i shouldnt take the pill at all that day? because i dont want to mix
thats what i usually do an nothing happen to me!! but i need to stop doing that because i dont want nothing bad to happen!
I don't care what time you take your pill or what time you start drinking, you should never mix the two. Alcohol is contraindicated while on this medication.
If you find it difficult to stop drinking and/or taking street drugs, you must let your doctor know immediately.
