Reversing side effects from Buspar

In 1998, needed to stop taking Buspar because the sound of dogs barking was driving me bonkers. I would bang on the window trying to stop the neibores dog until breaking the glass. The anxiety and depression I had and was trying to aleviate from a devorce was being linked to dogs barking and the sound of people eating. I started to then and still to this day wear paper earplugs and head phones night and day with volume blaring to block out what should be normal sounds. I have spent countless thousands and seen many helpfull faces in the mental help industry, but nothing has ever touched it. Seems to have a permanent hold on me.
At 48, I am really starting to show the signs of long term stress with my health. Am a single dad with 2 boys of 5 & 8. Their lives are effected by this. My ability to make plenty of money now is a fraction to what it once was from this. My family really needs some help.
Is there any light in this tunnel.

So are you saying that in 12 YEARS you have not been able to find any help for your problem? I see that you have tried, but apparently, nothing has worked. Since it seems that outside noises are causing you the most difficulty, I would suggest an appointment with an audiologist to have your hearing thoroughly checked out. But I may have misinterpreted what you said, which was that you began to "link" your anxiety and depression to "barking dogs and people eating."
Since you have already sought out therapy for this, it hardly makes sense for me to suggest it again. Which I'm afraid leaves me with little to offer you aside from the possibility, however remote, that it may have something to do with your hearing and that perhaps certain frequency of sounds is troublesome to you.
I hope others here will have better suggestion and I wish you the best. It can't be easy.
