I had a few drinks at my girlfriend's birthday earlier and I just wondering if I can still take my anxiety medication? Thanks

Alcohol should NEVER be mixed with anxiety meds!  This can cause depressed breathing (because alcohol and anxiety meds are both sedatives).  Any good doctor will tell you that if you are on these meds, do not drink.  But the truth is, some of us do anyway.  If I know that I'm going to want to drink, I wait at least 8-10 hours after my last dose, and then wait until I am sober to take the next one.  I do not recommend this.  But it works for me.

Hi, I would take it as you should never stop anti anxiety medication without help from your doctor. You could ring up a 24 hour medical  advice service.
