mind over matter. You have been eating and swallowing your whole life and you've been just fine. Remember that and calm your thoughts. When you start to overthink the matter, stop thinking negative thoughts by replacing them with positive ones. & Yes, I would say that this is normal with anxiety problems. Something else to consider (I have this and panic attacks) is reflux. Often, I get something in my mouth and I can't swallow. Have your doctor check this out as well. there could be a connection but it could be two separate issues. Good luck.
