yes he will make a good P-doc!
"found out that my pvcs were not caused by xanax xr.My pvcs have gotten better as i have learned to not read into thing as much as i did before"
^ this statement led me to believe that the pvcs were heart palpations brought on by anxiety/panic. if it's a real case of pvcs, and you have been diagnosed with that. then you might need what ryan is suggesting. for some reason, i just had the feeling that they were brought on by worry, especially when you say they get better when you worry less and don't over over over analyze everything..
Good Luck, talk to your dr. about what ryan said, seems like a smart plan if that is what's really going on in your case.
to ryan: also like you you break things down, to rule out eveything else...ie: do this and if it don't work, XR is justified...youll make a good pdoc holmes....but i bet i can beat you in arm wresting or batgammon! haha j/k
have a good one yall
God Bless.
Jay.
Lol. were you being sarcastic Ryan?I didn't mean to ignore you. Ive seen in your previous posts that you say 15mg tranxene BID might be good to take long-term for anxiety.Maybe il ask my doc if i could substitute the xanax with tranxene just to see what happens, and if all else fails i will just remain on the XR.
that's very strange, but we are all different....but if the XR works and the buspar don't. drop the buspar....i mean why be on something that does not help at all? the less meds the better and save some $$$.
therapy?
exercise?
relaxation techniques?
CBT?
meds will only do so much bro....you gotta use them as a tool not a crutch. i learned this. i know what the med will do and i see improvements OVER what that med will do, so i know i am getting over anxiety and klonopin isn't doing all the work. there's a big difference in the reason we get over panic attacks. the reason you believe you get over them is equlivent to the percentage of relapses back into panic....
but yea....buspar = joke haha
good luck man!
Yup,tried Klonopin, valium, ativan as well. Xanax XR is the only med that stops panic, anxiety, and minor depression
buspar = joke!
you are the patient, tell you dr. you want OFF the buspar. if it's doing nothing, it's doing nothing! simple and plain. he works for YOU! if he refuses find another doc...
i'm a klonopin fan myself.....you ever looked into that instead of xanax xr????
might be a great thing for you. talk to your dr. before doing anything. but i'd bring it up to him/her asap!
it's your life!
Jay
p.s. stay off the internet and researching symptoms and analyzing every little thing! it makes anxiety 100x's worse! you'll be fine!
