ty all for your answers cj ive been on 0.5 for 8 months i split it into 1/4 3 times daily.
i was on klonopin for 13 yrs..it always helped me..i liked it cuz you took just 1 or 2 pills aday then you were done for the day..then the long 1/2 life took over till the next dose.not like xanax were you have to keep taking it all day long..and xanax 1/2 life is 12hrs..thats 1/2 still in ur blood but you dont feel it anymore...on the klonopin you feel it all the time..as far as far as tolornce i would think you would have one..talk with the docky....whatever you do DONT JUST STOP TAKING IT..IT WILL BE VERY BAD WD,S................GOOD LUCK TOO YOU KEEP POSTING JAMES
As MrGreen said, it can lose its 'potency' over time. Just like any benzo, your body can build up a tolerance to it, but medicagtions like Klonopin are used in the long term because of its long half life. If you see that it is not becoming as effective then I would go back to your doctor and discuss what you are experiencing. How long have you been on it? Keep us posted!
Guess a simple answer would be to say it would stop working. It would be doing nothing for you. But you can't just stop taken it. It is another benzo. Means working your way slowly off of it. Your doctor might have a replacement medication.
