Waking up feeling confused

Hi there, im currently on 20 mg of Citalopram for my anxiety. Does anybody else have this wierd thing where they wake up and feel a little confused or disoriantated? i do. if anybody has any advise that would be great..

It's worth mentioning that these symptoms may not be the result of Citalopram but rather anxiety.

this happens to me too ... wake up confused, hard of breathing and feel suicidal ... arms and legs weak and no feeling in arms and have a buring sensation.... freaks me out and I hate feeling like this.

That's exactly what happens to me. I wake up and am really stressed, confused, and anxious. I start thinking about things that are not real and everything. I talked to a doctor about it and he told me it probably is based on sleep disorders or that I am half a sleep when I wake  up.

Yeah sometimes I do I am taking citalopram also the doc just boosted me to 40mg but anyway I believe it is one of the side effects you'll get used to it.
