As Blu has said, please consult with your doctor. SSRIs work differently on everybody, sometimes it can be a trial and error method that finds the best one.

First, know that I am NOT a doctor, and that you should see a doctor before deciding on any sort of drug therapy. I have both GAD and depression. My own doctor's prescribed mix is klonopin 1mg 2x a day, zoloft 125mg 1x a day, and respiridone .05mg 1x a day. This works for ME. Everyone is different, and it is very likely these medications will not work, cause nasty side effects, or cause an allergic reaction. But at least you have an idea now what sorts of things are prescribed for our kind of problems. Ask your doctor.
