Zoloft withdrawal even after retaking?

I've been on Zoloft for about 4 years for anxiety and it's been great for me. This past July my doctor said I would have to schedule an appointment to get more refills since I hadn't been in awhile. For whatever reason I didn't feel like having to schedule an appointment and travel 30 minutes and talk to a new doctor about my condition. I've been back and forth between 50-100 mg in the 4 years I've been on Zoloft. I think I started with 50 then went up to 100, then down to 50. After I went down to 50, my prescription stayed at 100 so I would just cut the pills in half. Since I couldn't get anymore refills without a doctor's visit I started to cut back on taking it. I would take it about twice a week. I had 60 50 mg pills in my last refill and that lasted me until this February.

The night of February 6th I started to fill like sh*t. I was really dizzy/lightheaded. I had shivers. Tingling in my head, etc. I started taking the Zoloft everyday again. I had 7 pills left and they didn't help. Maybe they were stale? So, I schedule an appointment at a closer hospital (new insurance long story short) and took a 50 mg pill everyday for 28 days. About a week after I started taking them I was feeling normal and thought everything was going to be ok. But eventually I felt a little fuzzy. Last Wednesday/Thursday, I started to get bad anxiety so now I've been taking 100 mg for the past 5 nights. It seems to be helping but I still get anxiety. I usually get better as the day goes on. After reading all this, how long is it going to take for me to feel like myself again? If I still don't feel right after a month of the 100 mg dosage, I'm going to have to see somebody about switching drugs or something. I just want the Zoloft to work again!

Did your doctor increase the dose?  If you increased it yourself it could take up to a month.  I tried that once and it did not help until I was using same dosage for a month.
Hang in there.
