Very strange dream

so I took a nap; longer than expected after work around 5pm. I woke up at 9 checked my phone and closed my eyes again. That's when it happened.  I had a dream like there was an earthquake in my house.  EVERYTHING was trembling very bad when out of no where it felt like I flew across my living room.  Well like I was thrown, and then it felt like I was out of my body. Because I saw people from my house coming down to look in my room from outside my room while it felt like I was suddenly in the room if that makes sense. Idk if they were coming to get me because of the earthquake or to check up on me.  Very strange. Than suddenly this dream ends and it feels as if I woke up, but I didn't. In this second dream I suddenly feel safe and secure because my dog jumped into my bed with me in my room so I felt like I was finally awake but I wasn't. I woke up for real this time and my dog wasn't there. This all felt like it happened in a very quick time lapse. Anyway to interpret this? Felt very strange and real.

Thanks for the input !

It is called coincidence, unless you are clairvoyant. I didn't disagree, wikipedia the science encyclopedia disagreed.

That does make sense. It was just very vivid which I thought was weird. Thanks !

and for the person that said that I completely disagree. I have dreams of things happening the night before they happen. It's strange !

i deal with really bad anxiety problems my self....
to me a dream like this usally means you are having trouble controlling things in ur day to day life. maybe your feeling uneasy about a situation. and when u felt like u woke up with ur dog there, maybe it was self conscious wanting ur dog there, because you feel protected by him. Another thing i could deff tell you would be to get your self a good dream book to help you better understand your dreams.

Dreams occur when your mind is in sleep mode so are meaningless. Dreams occur every time you go to sleep although you don't remember most of them.
