Xanex and Excedrin

I took a .5mg Xanex for anxiety about 12 hours ago, but now have a killer headache and want to take an Excedrin for it. Will there be any complications or has the Xanex worked it's way out of my system yet? 21 year old male, about 290lb, don't drink, haven't smoked in a year, no recreational drug use.

The amount of caffeine in Excedrin is equal to one cup of coffee.  Excedrin also makes a pain medication without caffeine which works very well.  You'll be fine.

If you took the Xanax 12 hours BEFORE taking the aspirin, there would be virtually no Xanax left in your system. Which is a moot point anyway. There is no risk in taking aspirin and Xanax together as long as you follow the dosage instructions.

It is completely safe to have together just want I while after taking excedrin. Since it contains caffeine and xanex is a downer

You can call one of your local pharmacies for peace of mind, but there are no contraindications.
